The United Way of Delta County is excited to bring back the Children's Book Swap as our 2017 United Way Day of Action project. Families are invited to share books they no longer want and help themselves to "new" books. Promote literacy skills, help prevent "summer slide" and foster a love of books and reading!
Families with children under the age of 5 also can register for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, a free program that sends preschoolers a book in the mail once a month until they turn 5. The United Way is proud to sponsor this program for Delta County children.
We'll also have information on our new Little Free Libraries project, a book exchange program for readers of all ages.
