This year's United Way Soup'r Chili Challenge has a "Parade of Nations" theme and features many delicious varieties of soup and chili prepared by local restaurants, organizations, businesses and individuals. Sample them all and then vote for your favorites for our People's Choice awards. You'll also enjoy free pop (courtesy of Bink's Coca-Cola) and free ice cream. Meet our Member Agencies and learn how your United Way contribution makes a difference in the lives of Delta County residents. You'll have a chance to win 50/50 and Bucket Raffle prizes, too! The United Way Soup'r Chili Challenge is held in the Ruth Butler Building at the U.P. State Fairgrounds. Admission is $20 for families, $10 for ages 13+, $5 for children 6-12 and $8 for seniors ages 65+. Children ages 5 and under get in free. Come on out and help us kick off our 2010 campaign! Soup'r Chili Challenge - Chef Registration We are still accepting Chef Registrations for our 16th annual Soup'r Chili Challenge. BIG CHANGE this year: if you have a commercial kitchen, you can register in the Restaurant division and cook in your own facility. If you don't have a commercial kitchen, register in the Non-Restaurant division and cook at the Ruth Butler Building. The event is Tuesday, September 14, 2010 and spaces are filling up fast!
